German Cockroach

CockroachGerman cockroaches are one of the hardest kitchen pests to control. It will take a group effort to insure success.

Kitchen:

  • All food and dishes must be removed the area and place in a different location. Make sure to cover all these items with a sheet(s).

  • Sanitize the inside of the cabinets and vacuum any remaining particles.

  • Vacuum under and behind all appliances such as oven(s), stove(s), refrigerator(s), and any other items that can be moved.

Food Pantry:

  • Food products must be removed and placed in a different location on a table. Make sure to cover all these items with a sheet(s).

  • Vacuum any remaining particles left on shelves or floor and sanitize.

Bathroom:

  • All items must be removed from the bathroom including closets, shelves and vanity. All items must be removed and placed in a different location on a table.

  • Vacuum any remaining particles left on shelves or floor and sanitize.

Other Preparations:

  • Remove all pet bowls from areas that will be treated.

  • All aquariums need to be covered by a heavy wet towel and air pump disconnected. All saltwater tanks have to be removed from the premises. Due to not being able to shut off the air pump. If not able to remove the saltwater tanks please discuss the option of a baiting treatment in these areas with your technician.

  • People, pets, including birds, reptiles, etc. should be removed from the premises.

  • Make preparations to leave the facility during the treatment, and allow 2 to 4 hours after application has dried before reentering the premises.
